Italian Blackamoor Figural Floor Lamp / Torchère, early 20th century - A carved and painted wood figure modeled as a standing attendant in period costume, supporting an elaborate giltwood multi-arm candelabra-form light standard with scrolling arms and faux candle sockets. The figure stands atop a carved wood pedestal base with scrolled feet and foliate decoration. Surface finished in painted and gilt decoration throughout. Electrified. One of a complementary pair offered as separate consecutive lots. 78 in. H, 15 in. W. Condition: Overall good decorative condition with expected surface wear, rubbing to painted and gilt surfaces, minor losses, and age-related cracking; wiring present but should be professionally checked prior to use.
