Early American Mahogany Two-Drawer Work Table with Drop Leaves - First half 19th century work table in figured mahogany, the rectangular top with rounded drop leaves opening to increase surface width, above two graduated drawers fitted with turned brass pulls and original escutcheons. Supported on slender turned legs with ring turnings, the case with clean lines characteristic of late Federal to early Classical forms. A practical and elegant sewing or work table retaining pleasing color and grain throughout. 29 in. H, 17.5 in. W, 16.5 in. D; 34 in.
