The shaped arms terminate in carved masks above fluted supports, leading to a generous seat raised on fluted legs fitted with casters. The frames retain a soft gilt and painted finish, highlighting the carved details throughout. Provenance: From the Palm Beach estate of entertainer Liberace, known for his opulent interiors and theatrical design sensibility. 41 in. H, 27 in. W, 22.5 in.
