R. J. Horner Inlaid Mahogany Nesting Tables, Set of Three - A set of three R. J. Horner mahogany nesting tables, late 19th to early 20th century, each with a rectangular top richly inlaid with scrolling foliate and floral marquetry in contrasting satinwood and specimen woods, centered by stylized botanical reserves. The tables graduate in size and retain finely line-inlaid, tapering legs, characteristic of Horner’s refined interpretation of neoclassical and Sheraton-inspired forms. 28 in H x 28 in W x 18 in D Condition: Surface wear, light scratches, and minor finish rubbing consistent with age and use; scattered small veneer imperfections; structurally sound.
