Impressive Renaissance Revival Carved Bed - Impressive Renaissance Revival carved bed, late 19th century, of highly ornate architectural form featuring a commanding arched headboard deeply carved with a figural frieze of putti in procession amid scrolling foliage, surmounted by additional seated figures flanking a central cartouche. The side supports with dramatic full-figure carvings of mythological or allegorical beasts—lion-headed figures with human-like torsos—terminating on carved lion masks, lending a distinctly theatrical and sculptural presence. The footboard with paneled reserves centered by bold roundels and garland swags, all raised on a substantial molded base.
