American Classical Mahogany Drop-Leaf Dining Table - A well-proportioned American Classical period mahogany drop-leaf dining table, early 19th century, featuring a rectangular top with rounded drop leaves supported by gateleg action, the frieze plain and unadorned, raised on turned and reeded legs terminating in simple rounded feet. The figured mahogany shows attractive grain throughout, particularly along the rule joints and skirt, consistent with quality cabinetmaking of the 1820–1840 period. 28.5 in H x 91 in W (extended) x 48 in D; each leaf 23.5 in W. Condition: Scattered surface scratches, finish wear, and areas of staining to top consistent with age and use; structurally sound with smooth gateleg action.
