Mitchell & Rammelsberg Stamped Victorian Marble Top Dresser with Mirror - A fine American Victorian dresser by the respected Cincinnati firm Mitchell & Rammelsberg, retaining its original stamped marking to the reverse. The case is crafted in richly figured walnut. The rectangular marble top rests above a three-drawer configuration, each drawer fitted with period hardware and framed by molded panels and carved accents. The mirror back features a bold arched crest with applied carved ornament and shaped supports terminating in small display shelves. Condition: Marble top with light surface wear consistent with age; scattered scuffs and finish wear to case; drawer interiors clean; mirror plate appears original with typical age-related spotting; overall sound and presents well.
