Pair of Italian Rococo Revival Giltwood Mirrors, Late 19th/Early 20th Century - Pair of ornate Italian or Continental Rococo Revival giltwood mirrors, late 19th to early 20th century, each with rectangular beveled mirror plate within a beaded inner frame and exuberantly pierced giltwood surround. The frames are carved with scrolling acanthus, foliate C-scrolls, floral ornament, and dramatic shell-form cresting, all raised on small pendant feet and finished in warm gilt surface. 45 in. H, 31 in. W, 3 in. D. Condition: Good condition with age-appropriate wear to gilding, scattered rubbing, small repairs, and surface variations throughout. Mirror plates show expected age and reflection wear.
