Fine Victorian Rosewood Clover Leaf Card Table - Fine Victorian rosewood clover leaf card table, mid-19th century, having a shaped fold-over top opening to a fitted quatrefoil card surface with black felt inset. The top swivels and opens to reveal an interior storage compartment, with molded rosewood edge, highly figured rosewood veneer, and rich old surface. Raised on a carved pedestal standard with urn-form knop, foliate carving, and four bold scrolled cabriole legs ending in casters. Includes boxed playing cards and note found in the table. 30 in. high x 36.5 in. wide x 19 in. deep closed; 38 in. deep extended. Condition: Very good antique condition with expected age cracks, veneer checking, scattered finish wear, minor edge separations, and wear to felt.
