From the Ormonde Plantation, Natchez, MS. Measures 34 1/2” high x 48 1/2” wide x 3” deep. Condition: Good overall decorative condition, with surface grime, varnish discoloration, heavy impasto/texture, minor abrasions, and scattered frame rubbing/gilt loss; paper backing present and painting has not been examined out of frame.
