Regency Mahogany Inlaid Cellarette, Early 19th Century - A handsome early 19th century Regency mahogany cellarette, British, circa 1800?1820, of square sarcophagus form with a deeply sloped and molded hinged lid, raised center panel, and oval satinwood-style inlaid reserves to the lid and front, each decorated with a classical urn motif. The case opens to a fitted bottle interior with divided compartments and retains a red fabric-lined lid interior. The front is fitted with a lower drawer, brass ring pulls, escutcheons, side carrying handles, and a key with tassel. Raised on a molded plinth base with bracket feet. 22 in. H, 18 in. W, 16 in. D. Condition: Good antique condition with age-appropriate wear, including surface scratches, small scuffs, minor finish wear, and scattered marks to the mahogany case. Interior fabric lining shows staining, fading, tears, and age wear. Fitted bottle dividers present with expected wear.
