Victorian Burl Walnut and Ebonized Parlor Cabinet with Porcelain Plaque - Victorian burl walnut and ebonized parlor cabinet, late 19th century, having carved Renaissance Revival decoration and rich figured veneer panels. The single large paneled door is centered by an oval porcelain portrait plaque of a young woman on cobalt blue and gilt ground, surrounded by incised and molded decoration. Case with projecting molded cornice, carved side columns, burlwood panels, ebonized trim, shelved interior, and plinth base with shaped skirt. 46 in. high x 39 in. wide x 19.5 in. deep. Condition: Good antique condition with scattered surface scratches, finish wear, and wear to ebonized trim. Porcelain plaque appears intact and presents well.
