Pair of American Classical Mahogany Upholstered Settees, Circa 1840 - Pair of American Classical mahogany upholstered settees, circa 1840, each with shaped serpentine crest rail and continuous scrolled mahogany frame surrounding a button-tufted back and broad upholstered seat. The lower rail features figured mahogany veneer above a shaped apron, with brass nailhead trim and short bracket feet, retaining small casters. Upholstered in pale green velvet or velvet-type fabric.33 in. H, 46.5 in. W, 17 in. D, 16 in. seat height. Condition: Good antique condition overall with scattered finish wear, small veneer imperfections, abrasions, and age-related marks to the mahogany frames.
