American Early Pie Safe with Punched Tin Panels and Red Interior - An American early pie safe, 19th century, of narrow rectangular form with two hinged paneled doors, each fitted with punched tin panels decorated with circular and foliate motifs. The case is constructed with a projecting top, straight legs, simple bracket cutouts to the sides, and a striking red-painted interior with open shelves. 52.5 in. H, 33 in. W, 12.5 in. D. Condition: Overall age-appropriate wear, including surface scratches, scuffs, shrinkage, finish wear, minor chips, and scattered old marks. Punched tin panels show oxidation, surface wear, and small imperfections. Interior red paint appears later or refreshed.
