Full Tester Plantation Bed with Yellow Fabric Canopy - American full tester plantation bed, likely late 19th century with later upholstered canopy treatment, having tall square mahogany or mahogany-finished posts with molded plinth bases and mid-post collar blocks, joined by a full overhead tester frame fitted with pleated yellow fabric canopy, valance, side panels, and bed skirt. The shaped headboard features a carved crest with pierced scrollwork, central roundel, foliate carving, and molded panel construction below. The bed is shown dressed with coordinating yellow fabric and appears to accommodate a full-size mattress. Bed opening approximately 64 in. W, 77 in. L. Condition: Good antique condition overall with expected age-related wear to wood surfaces, scattered scratches, finish wear, minor abrasions, and possible old repairs or later structural adaptations.
