Meeks Attributed Rococo Revival Marble-Top Center Table - Fine American Rococo Revival marble-top center table, attributed to J. & J.W. Meeks, New York, mid-19th century, having a shaped white marble ”turtle top” with molded edge over a richly carved rosewood or laminated rosewood base. The apron is carved with fruit, foliate scrollwork, and molded reserves, raised on bold cabriole legs with carved floral and leaf decoration, joined by a shaped stretcher with central carved urn-form finial, on casters. Dimensions: 29 in. H, 39 in. W, 30 in. D. Condition: Good antique condition with expected wear, minor scuffs, finish wear, and age-related surface imperfections.
