Continental Provincial Tall Case Clock, Dated 1787 - Continental provincial tall case clock, late 18th century with molded cornice above a square brass-mounted clock face with Roman numeral chapter ring, engraved spandrels, and pierced hands, over a tall narrow case with paneled waist door, inset triangular raised molding, and carved plaque inscribed ?ANNO 1787.? The case retains a warm old surface with molded base, paneled lower section, side door, visible pendulum and weights. Dimensions: 91 in. H, 22 in. W, 8 in. D. Condition: Antique condition with wear consistent with age and use, including surface wear, scuffs, shrinkage, age cracks, losses, old repairs, finish variation, oxidation to dial and metal elements, and general case wear. Movement, weights, pendulum, and working condition have not been tested or guaranteed.
