Large Chinese Blanc de Chine Guanyin Figure, Dehua, 19th C. - Large Chinese Blanc de Chine / Dehua porcelain figure of Guanyin, 19th century, modeled seated upon a rockwork and wave-form base, the bodhisattva shown in flowing robes with elaborate jewelry, high coiffure, serene expression, and attributes including a scroll and vessel. The figure is finely modeled with layered drapery, beaded ornament, lotus and wave details, and a warm ivory-white glaze. The reverse bears impressed marks, including a double-gourd mark and square seal mark. 22 in. H, 10 in. W, 7 in. D. Condition: Good condition with age-appropriate surface soiling, minor glaze imperfections, firing lines, and expected wear. Interior base visible and unglazed.
