American Mahogany Dental Cabinet, C. 1920 - Origin: American Date: Circa 1915-1925 Period/Style: Early 20th-century professional furniture Materials: Mahogany and mahogany veneer, milk glass, textured glass, mirror, clear glass pulls, and marble Form: Dental instrument cabinet Description: Fine American mahogany dental instrument cabinet, circa 1915-1925. The upper cabinet has paired doors glazed with diamond-patterned textured glass, opening to milk-glass-lined compartments with shelves, above a beveled mirror backsplash and white milk-glass work surface. The lower case contains an extensive bank of shallow instrument drawers and six deeper lower drawers, all fitted with faceted clear glass pulls. Rounded corners and a green marble plinth complete the compact professional form. Dimensions: 61 in. H, 31 in. W.
