Pair Gorham Chantilly Sterling Candelabra - Maker: Gorham Manufacturing Company Origin: Providence, Rhode Island Date: Mid-20th century Pattern: Chantilly Duchess, no. 750 Materials: Weighted and reinforced sterling silver Form: Convertible three-light candelabra Description: Pair of Gorham Manufacturing Company Chantilly Duchess pattern no. 750 weighted sterling silver three-light candelabra. Each convertible form has a baluster stem on a circular domed foot decorated with rocaille scrolls and foliage. The removable branch assembly carries two scrolling arms and an elevated central socket, with conforming candle cups and bobeches. Undersides stamped GORHAM STERLING, with Gorham's trademark, pattern number 750, and WEIGHTED / REINFORCED WITH OTHER METAL. Dimensions: Each 13 in. H, 12 in. W. Gross Weight: One approximately 2 lb. 6 oz.; the other 2 lb. 2 oz. Weights include reinforcing and weighting materials and do not represent solid sterling weight.
