The Venetian composition looks along a narrow waterway toward a domed campanile, with gondolas and figures beneath an arcaded building. Its companion depicts a Dutch canal lined with stepped-gable houses and terminating in a prominent Amsterdam clock tower. Both are signed Bergantini lower left, with the Venetian view additionally inscribed Venezia. Presented in matching molded and patinated frames. Dimensions: Each 32 in. H, 23 in. W overall. One has a more concentrated area of flaking and loss near the lower edge. Frames show rubbing, scratches, small chips, and finish loss.
