The animals are illuminated against dense autumn foliage, with a softly lit path receding beneath the trees. Signed R. Giglio lower right and presented in an elaborate Rococo-style molded frame with ebonized reserves and gilt foliate ornament. A rear inventory label apparently includes the name Giglio and records the canvas size as 36 by 48 inches. Dimensions: 47 in. H, 59 in. W overall. Canvas approximately 36 in. H, 48 in. W.
