The oval architectural case has stepped moldings and curved beveled-glass panels displaying the movement and three-vial compensating-style pendulum. Its enamel dial is painted with delicate floral sprays and Arabic numerals, with subsidiary minute numerals at the quarters. The two-train movement strikes on a coiled gong and bears the circular Japy Freres award medallion stamp. Accompanied by a winding key. Dimensions: 9.5 in. H, 7.5 in. W, 6 in. D.
