Jade and wood ‘Dragon’ ornament, Qing dynasty - A carved white jade plaque in the form of a medallion with fine openwork details of a fierce central dragon with a sinuous, scaled body against a background of flowering branches. It has a foliate profile, surrounded by a wide carved wooden frame, with intricate openwork decorations of scrolls, scrolls and small flowers.  Thickness: 3 cm; Diameter: 19.5 cm Total weight: 325 g
