Carved jade figurine ‘Sage and Tiger’, Song style, Qing dynasty - Greenish jade with reddish and brownish flecks. It is shaped like a steep grotto, with openwork recesses and relief detailing, flanked by two long branches covered with leaves. Inside is a seated sage, serenely observing an imposing reclining tiger licking its front paws. With custom-made box and stand.  Size jade: 23 x 5,5 x 15 cm Weight: 2085 g
