Yellow jade ‘Beasts’ plaque, Qing dynasty - A beautifully carved Hetian jade plaque of yellow 黃玉 (Huáng yù). It has a flat rectangular shape, with two archaic beasts flanking the edges. It is decorated with meticulous detailing in relief and fretwork. In the center, there is a rectangular cartouche with characters written in different spellings.  Size: 6.8 x 0.8 x 4.6 cm Weight: 65 g
