A Tongcao picture and a decorative plaque, 20th Century - Lot composed of a watercolor painting and a decorative wooden plaque, with bone and mother-of-pearl applications, and a painting on the reverse. The vegetable paper painting, known as ”tongcao” typical of Cantonese artists, shows a girl playing with a double ball. The decorative relief shows an eagle and on the back a painted fabric with a landscape. Painting size: 15,50 x 11,50 cm; Frame size: 24 x 20 cm; Plate size: 27,30 x 34,90 cm.
