Glazed ceramic ‘Cabbage’ brush jar, Qing dynasty - Ceramic modelled in the form of a brush container, imitating the morphology of a Chinese cabbage or ‘Brassica rapa pekinensis’, with elongated, curly, thick-stemmed leaves, between which two small ladybirds climb. The whole is covered with beautiful and colourful coloured enamels. The base is decorated with two seals in bas-relief. Shows age-related wear. Height: 12.5 cm; Diameter: 11.5 cm
