Dzi amulet of agate with rectangular and circular motif, Tang Dynasty - Elongated Dzi-type bead (གཟི།), carved from dark-toned agate with white decoration. It features a rectangular motif on one side and a concentric circle (”eye”) on the other, separated by parallel bands. The design is symmetrical and well-defined. The surface is polished and displays fine crackle work. Strung on modern thread. Piece associated with protection and auspicious energy. Tang Dynasty (618–907) or later.
