Dzi agate amulet “Flowers”, Tang dynasty - Cylindrical bead type Dzi (གཟི།), carved in light colored agate with decoration in dark tones representing a sequence of stylized floral motifs. The surface is polished and shows fine craquelure, characteristic of the natural aging of this type of piece. Strung on modern red thread.
