Bead necklace ‘Dzi’, Tang style - A necklace consisting of 76 cylindrical-shaped beads, decorated with white motifs on a black background in the “Dzi” style, alternating with larger brown spherical beads. The beads bear stylised inscriptions of symbolic or ritualistic appearance, typical of this type of Tibetan or Himalayan amulets that were adopted during the Tang dynasty.
