Gilt bronze figure ”Dzambhala”, Qing Dynasty - A small figure cast in yellow gilt bronze, representing Dzambhala (Jambhala), the deity of wealth in Tibetan Buddhism. He is shown seated in the lalitasana position on a double lotus base, with his right leg hanging slightly forward. His corpulent build, with a prominent belly and serene expression, symbolizes abundance. He wears a crown of five skulls, necklaces, bracelets, and earrings, typical attributes of his iconography. In his left hand, he holds a small animal, and his right hand rests on his knee in a gesture of generosity, holding a large pearl. His updo, decorated with traces of blue pigment, accentuates his tantric character. The sculpture shows great detail in the folds of his robe and body ornaments. Qing Dynasty (1644–1912) or later.
