White jade figurine ”Guanyin in meditation”, Qing Dynasty - Sculpture carved in translucent white jade depicting Guanyin, the bodhisattva of compassion, in an attitude of prayer. She is shown seated in a lotus posture on a flower-shaped base of the same name, with both hands clasped in front of her chest in the Anjali mudra, a gesture of veneration and spiritual recollection. The figure wears a softly folded robe with a hood over her head, and the facial features are serene and harmonious.
