Jade figure “Turtle,” Hongshan culture - Nephrite jade amulet, carved from a pale green stone with brown inclusions, sculpted in the shape of a mythical turtle. It combines a simplified turtle shell, with incised plates, with a small head and stylized tail or hind legs. It has several perforations for use as a pendant.
