Pair of cloisonné vases ”Chrysanthemums and butterflies”, 20th century - A pair of bronze vases with cloisonné enamel, decorated with vividly coloured chrysanthemums among abundant green foliage on a yellow background with a scale pattern. Butterflies and cherry blossoms are also displayed throughout, as well as ornamental rocks in the lower part of the composition. The neck features a wavy blue border around the mouth. The interior and base are enamelled in cobalt blue. Mounted on carved wooden pedestals. Height: 38.5 cm. Diameter: 13 cm. Pedestal height: 6 cm.
