Hetian jade plaque ‘Intertwined Dragons’, Ming dynasty - Jade plaque, finely carved in relief, with two sinuous creatures arranged around a central rectangular hole. The reverse side features spiral motifs. The jade is ivory-coloured with areas of earthy patina. Ming dynasty (1368–1644) or later. Size: 5.5 × 1.9 × 4 cm Weight: 65.2 g
