Nanhong seal ‘Beast among clouds’, Qing dynasty - Carved Nanhong stone piece, ivory with reddish veins. The upper part shows a fantastic beast reclining among clouds in relief, with rounded shapes and a serene expression. At the base is an incised seal with the inscription ‘莲华室’. Qing dynasty (1644–1912) or later. Size: 3 × 3.9 × 3.6 cm Weight: 71.1 g
