Tianhuang stone seal ‘Landscape with Heron’, Qing dynasty - Tianhuang stone seal, honey yellow in colour with reddish veins. The shape is irregular and elongated, with a rounded top. Decorated with a relief scene of a heron among pine trees and flowers, with the signature ‘牧甫’ engraved on one side. The matrix shows engraved characters ‘蠶如金石’. With a cylindrical box lined with cloth and a label “蠶如金石” ‘清田黄薄钱藏’. Qing dynasty (1644–1912). Size: 5.0 x 1.7 x 3.0 cm Weight: 51.5 g
