Small jade seal, Han dynasty - Rectangular jade seal with a carved relief handle, perforated in the centre. The figure has rounded, stylized forms. The jade is pale green with a reddish and black patina covering the surface. The matrix is engraved with four incised characters. Han dynasty (206 BC–220 AD). Size: 4.1 x 2 x 1.9 cm Weight: 38 g
