Large yellow agate bead, Liao dynasty - Large, egg-shaped bead carved from yellow agate. The stone is an intense honey or caramel colour, crossed by a natural white band that encircles the body. Smooth, highly polished surface with a central longitudinal perforation. Shows patina due to aging. Liao Dynasty (907-1125 AD). Size: 5.9 x 3.7 x 5.8 cm Weight: 180 g
