Agate Dzi bead ‘Ten Eyes’, Tang dynasty - Dzi bead (གཟི།) with a tubular, barrel-like shape. The surface has a dark brown background with a white pattern engraved on it. The decoration consists of two rows of five circles, separated by hook motifs or ‘tiger teeth’, and two parallel lines at the ends. Tang Dynasty (618–906). Length: 4.5 cm.
