Carved wooden seal ‘Grifo’, Qing dynasty - Made of reddish wood. The piece has an elliptical shape topped by a carving depicting two griffins, mythical creatures with the head of an eagle and the body of a lion. It stands out for the vigour of its volumes, the detail in the plumage and the ornamental elements. The base contains an intricate engraved inscription with traces of red pigment.
