Shoushan stone seal ‘Landscape with birds’, Qing dynasty - Honey-coloured Shoushan stone. It has a prismatic shape with a domed top, meticulously decorated with an incised landscape. A pair of birds on a plum blossom branch stands out, a scene that extends around the perimeter. On one side, there is a calligraphic inscription. The base of the seal contains characters engraved in seal style with traces of cinnabar pigment. Qing dynasty (1644–1912). Size: 9.9 x 3.4 x 3.4 cm Weight: 226.2 g Origin: French private collection
