Shoushan seal ‘Protective Lion’, Qing dynasty - Shoushan stone in a soft amber colour. It has a rectangular base crowned by the image of a seated mystical lion, in an alert and protective pose. The animal shows meticulous details in its mane and musculature, defined by precise incisions. The base shows characters engraved for stamping. It comes with a custom-made pedestal and box.
