Translucent quartz seal “Beast”, Qing dynasty - A carved quartz of crystalline and translucent nature, with a square base. It depicts a beast in a crouching posture, with an arched body and its head raised in a watchful stance. The impression base retains traces of cinnabar and features characters carved in seal script.
