Shoushan “Turtle” porcelain box and seal set, Qing Dynasty - A carved Shoushan stone in reddish and honey tones, with a rectangular base. The upper rim features a turtle in relief, with its shell decorated with geometric patterns and archaic beasts, and surrounded by a border of sinuous clouds on the sides of the base. The impression base retains traces of cinnabar. It is accompanied by a lobed porcelain box, decorated with coral-red enamel and floral motifs in gold. The lid features a white reserve with an extensive poetic inscription. The base bears a six-character mark (大清乾隆年制). Qing Dynasty (1644–1912).
