Yuhuchun ping vase, ‘Dragons’, Yuan dynasty - Porcelain decorated in underglaze blue, featuring the classic pear-shaped silhouette, a slender neck flaring into a flared rim and a circular foot. The main decoration consists of a three-clawed imperial dragon encircling the body of the piece amidst stylised clouds and flames. Inside the rim, branches of plum blossoms can be seen, whilst the foot is decorated with a band of classical scrolls. Yuan Dynasty (1271–1368) or later.
