Sancai-glazed ceramic ‘Lady with a Dog’, Tang dynasty - Polychrome-glazed terracotta (sancai), depicting a standing lady of the court. She wears a long, dark blue tunic that falls to cover her feet. The upper part features wide sleeves decorated with speckled glaze. In her arms, she holds a small lap dog. The face, with rounded features and a serene expression, retains traces of white slip and pigments. Tang Dynasty (618–907) or later. Size: 47 x 16 x 17.5 cm
