Hetian white jade relief of ‘Guanyin’, Qing Dynasty - Carved white jade. The obverse features a bas-relief carving of Guanyin in a serene pose. The deity is flanked by plant motifs that surround her with a solemn aura. The reverse shows the bare material, with beautiful orange veins. It rests on a carved wooden base featuring architectural motifs, scrolls and a flaming halo. Qing Dynasty (1644–1912). Size: 35 x 15 x 5.5 cm Weight: 4030 g
