Wooden processional cross. Carved, gilded and polychromed front and back. Catalonia 16th century. - Stylistically the cross is in the gothic tradition, with the four arms of the cross widening into an oval form and ending in fleurs de lis. In a circular section at the intersection of the arms on one side is the figure of the crucified Christ, and on the other is the Virgin Mary. On both sides there is carved and polychromed decoration that simulate stone cabochons. This is a wooden recreation in the style of metal worked gothic crosses. Total measurements: 100 x 48 cm.
